idlewild is by far my all time favorite movie....dont let the movie cover fool you! this is a love story. I also love all the amazing outfits from that time period. A MUST SEE!!!

the BIG question

the other day i got this lovely note in the mail from my friend Hali (who got engaged in November!!! whoo-hoo) and at first i thought it was the wedding invitation which had me a little confused....but when i opened it Hali asked me "to be her bridesmaid!" i am so honored to be a part of her special day. i had to share the great news!

12 things to thrive for in 2012

i must say...i am super excited to be able to check off a lot of the goals i have for 2012.

the one i'm looking forward to the MOST is "go see Candace in ATL" my cousin (Candace) moved there over a year ago and we hardly see one another....so i cant wait!!!

the hardest, well i mean most challenging goal to complete this year is "be on time -besides being on time for work." in college and all through my life actually i have always been a very punctual person. so i dont know what happened to me when i moved back to orlando but it seems like i can never be on time :( 

but this year, things will change!

how to make a twirly skirt

these are the steps to make almost any skirt twirly and SUPER girly!

1. tule 

2. i used ribbon but you can use string or anything else you would like 

3. tie a knot with the tule around the ribbon

4. this tutu will go under your dress or skirt to make it twirly and flow just the way you like it

this is my finished product!

i got this dress from Goodwill for about $6 and i put my tutu under it to make it flow beautifully!

i love it.

Look what I made

I went to Goodwill today and bought a vintage veil...so what did I do! I made a birdcage veil duh!

My parents old record player.....had a blast with it (on my Christmas wish list for this year)

Had a great Saturday night we me and Mister Cole.

I got 5 records from Goodwill in Orlando for only 99 cents each!

This is my sister, Xandria. We call her Xandy (which rhymes with my name Brandi - and YES she wanted our names to rhyme so she named me ). We have this inside joke where I say she's "My favorite sister" although she's my only sister. tehehe....i love her so much!

I'm considered the "dreamer" in my family because I have this dream of doing photography and traveling the world! I know somehow someway I'll make it! Currently, I work in the corporate world which I do LOVE and appreciate. However, on the side I do photography and missions to different countries and if I could do that FULL time it would be great!
